Today’s house of the day is located on Summit Lake in Olympia, WA, which is in Washington. Sale pending, it was recently listed for only $948,000 and contains 6 bedrooms, 5 washrooms, and 7,500 square feet (includes 1,500 square foot cabin on premises) on 1.1 acres. Obviously, the builders must’ve gone belly-up and there’s some work to be done. Also, it seems a little chintzy in some places – fake wood, fake stone, trying too hard, but I love the second floor landing and rafters, beautiful views, wood everywhere, and cabin (MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE FINAL FOUR PHOTOS OF THE CABIN, DAMNIT).
