While the rest of you are out celebrating Juneteenth and all that smooth jazz, I’m still out here promoting June 12th’s International Falafel Day. You can laugh, but that falafel is on fleek.
Anyway, today’s song of the day is a throwback to the fictional era of Winston Smith. It’s Foreigner’s I Want To Know What Love Is. A magnificent piece and Big Brother would agree.
And for my Mel Brooks fans in “da club,” here’s a random quote on which you can unload your creative juices: “Holy underwear! Sheriff murdered? Innocent women and children blown to bits? We’ve got to protect our phoney-baloney jobs, gentleman! We must do something about this immediately! Immediately, immediately! Harrumph, harrumph!”
Separately, does anyone else LOVE the fact that Elizabeth Warren G’s presidential campaign staff has voted to unionize? The campaign workers will be represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2320.
